Rebecca Jaymes is a jazz vocalist, violinist, and pianist whose musical journey began in Pleasant Valley, New York. She started studying violin at the age of three and received classical training in both violin and piano before discovering her passion for jazz and vocal performance.
Rebecca earned her Bachelor of Music in Studio Music and Jazz Vocal Performance from Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. With more than two decades of professional performance experience since then, Rebecca has appeared at renowned New York City venues including The Carlyle Hotel, The Bitter End, and Caffe Vivaldi.
Since relocating to Seattle in 2021, Rebecca has become an active presence in the Pacific Northwest jazz scene. In 2025, she was nominated for a Golden Ear Award, recognizing her artistry and contributions to the jazz community. In January 2026, she was on the cover of Earshot Jazz Magazine. She is delighted to collaborate with the exceptional musicians she has met in the region and continues to captivate audiences with her warm tone, expressive storytelling, and deep love for the Great American Songbook and jazz tradition.
